Nightcap

Nightcap was a monthly music event that took place at an inner-city bar during the winter months. Its aim was to bring people together, create a warm atmosphere, and offer a unique opportunity for socialising with friends or colleagues after work. Featuring a rotating list of local, new, and upcoming DJs, Nightcap provided a platform for up-and-coming talent and offered an exciting after-work experience. Each event also spotlighted a signature cocktail special, which was promoted and available for purchase during the event, adding an extra touch of fun and excitement to the night.

My role

As the brand designer for the proposed ongoing event, I played a key role in bringing the concept to life through close collaboration with the event promoter. Together, we crafted the concept, event name and strategy. I was then responsible for creating a memorable brand identity, which would capture the theme and overall essence of the event. I aimed to create something lively, playful and unforgettable for the attendees, while also supporting the hosting venue by highlighting a rotating cocktail special to boost drink sales.

My responsibilities included creating the concept, designing the logo, developing brand guidelines, and producing all promotional materials such as posters, illustrations, signage, and drink menus. I also provided guidance on a focused marketing strategy to attract and engage the target audience.
